Belarus to supply $20m worth of meat to China
Beef worth $20 million will be supplied by Belarusian producers to the Chinese market within a year. The corresponding contracts with partners from the PRC were signed on July 28 by three enterprises. Belarus received the right to sell the beef on July 10.

Currently, the partners are negotiating the supply of poultry meat to China. A memorandum of appropriate certification has already been signed. Belarusian dairy products have been appreciated in China.
Alexei Bogdanov, head of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus: Over the past year, we have certified 36 dairy enterprises and in the first five months of this year, exports of Belarusian dairy products have reached $2 million. This is 72 times more than in 2016. Therefore, we are rushing forward and hope that beef will also increase the volume of exports to China.
Now Belarus and China are actively working on increasing trade turnover. In 2017, more than $650 million should be made up of Belarusian exports. The task by 2020 is to achieve a turnover of $1.5 billion.
